Split leveled garden with water feature.
In this garden the client wanted to avoid straight lines so curves and bends were a main concept in the design process as well as adding a mini retaining wall due to the steep gradient of the garden. The two separate levels were defined using 100 mm round blanks set in concrete and the upper level made an effective upper level to mount the old milk churn to be used as mild water fall. All edges of the lawn were edged with everedge to give a clean and tidy edge. The Sandstone used was in Burnt Amber. The use of bends and curves now makes use of the whole garden and the space available is exploited with the illusion of more space giving practical usable ares in both upper and lower levels.
